Enhance Your Leisure

Leisure is any activity done with the ambition of rest, relaxation, recovery. A walk can be a leisure walk. Reading a book, taking a bath, all these things can be leisure. How do we enhance our leisure?

  1. A nice snack. Something nice to nibble on. Fresh fruit, nuts, chips, carrots and hummus
  2. The right tunes. Music to set the tone and help maintain it
  3. A comfortable temperature. Something to regulate. In the winter: blankets, heaters, a fire, tea. In the summer: a fan, AC, a cold drink
  4. The perfect attire. Something that supports leisure, makes a leisurly statement. Something comfortable, but maybe a little flashy that makes leisure a priority
  5. A beautiful scent. A candle, palo santo, incense, flowers, a nearby tree or lake
  6. An inspiring locale. A cool coffe shop or library, or a beautiful spot in nature
  7. Some self-care. Shave, shower, moisturize, and be comfortable and relaxed
